Shipping Policy
At Liquidation Pallets Direct, we understand that time is money for resellers. That’s why we have built a network of trusted U.S. suppliers to ensure your inventory gets to you quickly and securely. Please review our shipping terms below before placing your order.
1. Processing Time
- Order Processing: All orders are processed within 24–48 hours after payment confirmation.
- Supplier Coordination: Because we operate on a multi-supplier model, your pallet may be sourced from different distribution centers across the United States. We coordinate with our suppliers to ensure your order is picked, packed, and handed over to the carrier as quickly as possible.
- Peak Times: During high-volume periods (holidays, major sales events), processing times may extend to 3–5 business days. You will receive an email notification if there are any delays.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We ship nationwide via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Freight for full pallets and Ground/UPS Freight for smaller lots.
- Domestic Shipping (Contiguous U.S.):
- Delivery Time: Typically 3–7 business days after shipment.
- Expedited Options: Due to the heavy nature of pallets, expedited shipping is generally not available. All shipments follow standard freight routes.
- Non-Contiguous States (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico):
- Delivery times may vary (typically 7–14 business days) due to additional transit legs.
- Additional shipping fees may apply. Please contact support for a quote before ordering.
3. Shipping Costs
- Standard Shipping: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of the pallet.
- Lift-Gate Service: For customers without a loading dock or forklift, Lift-Gate Service is required to lower the pallet to ground level.
- Note: Lift-gate service is included for orders over $150 or available for an additional fee of $100 for smaller orders. Please select this option at checkout if needed.
- Residential Delivery: If shipping to a residential address, a Residential Delivery Surcharge of $50 may apply.
4. Packaging & Security
We take the safety of your inventory seriously.
- Shrink-Wrapping: Every pallet is professionally shrink-wrapped and secured to prevent shifting during transit.
- Corner Protection: Heavy-duty corner boards are used to protect boxes from crushing.
- Weather Protection: Pallets are covered with weather-resistant tarps for outdoor storage during transit.
- Tamper-Evident: Seals are applied to the pallet to detect any unauthorized access.
5. Tracking & Delivery Confirmation
- Tracking Number: Once your pallet is picked up by the carrier, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to monitor your shipment in real-time.
- Proof of Delivery (POD): A signature or photo proof of delivery is provided upon arrival.
- Appointment: Some freight carriers require a delivery appointment. We will contact you 24 hours before delivery to confirm a time slot. Please ensure someone is available to receive the pallet.
6. Damages in Transit
While we pack securely, freight shipping carries inherent risks.
- Inspection: Please inspect your pallet immediately upon delivery.
- Reporting Damages: If you notice external damage (torn wrap, crushed boxes, water damage), you must note it on the Bill of Lading (BOL) and take photos before the driver leaves.
- Claims: We require photos of the damage within 48 hours of delivery to file a claim with the carrier and process a replacement or refund. Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted.
7. International Shipping
Currently, we only ship within the United States. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
- Note: If you are a reseller looking to export, please contact our support team for bulk export options.
8. Failed Delivery / Undeliverable Addresses
If a driver cannot deliver your pallet (e.g., incorrect address, no access, missed appointment):
- The carrier will attempt delivery again within 2–3 business days.
- If delivery fails a second time, the pallet may be returned to the warehouse.
- Return Shipping Fees: Any return shipping fees incurred due to customer error (wrong address, missed appointments) will be charged to the buyer.
